The city of San Francisco has legislation [PDF] in place to increase the representation of women on the city's street names, public buildings, and public art by 30 percent before the end of 2020.

Dolores Huerta is one of my all-time heroes, and it's exciting and fitting that people are raising the idea of renaming a major street running through the Latino Cultural District in her honor.
